Professional nursing is a specialty with multiple roles and has general and specific tasks.
The scope of duties of the nurse in general includes providing nursing services to patients and people in need of care, in the health spectrum in order to provide, maintain and improve the level of health and social welfare.
Nursing Station:
The Nursing Office is the center for managing, planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating nursing activities in the hospital and is also responsible for coordinating with other units such as medical, paraclinical, etc.
The management of the nursing unit of Kosar Hospital in Semnan is the responsibility of the director of nursing services (Ms. Narjes Pour Hashemi) who relies on the observance of the client's rights charter, based on the nursing process and care standards. In the field of quality improvement, continuously improves the activities of providing client services.
Mission of the Nursing Office:
We, the nursing staff of Kosar Hospital in Semnan, consider the essence of any change in the organization in the attitudes and inner inclinations of the value system of the staff. Therefore, relying on God Almighty and relying on the principles of our Islamic and Iranian values and teachings, we firmly believe. We are committed and determined to create change and return to new and transcendent values by believing in the following:-

The most important programs of the nursing office:-
Planning in the fields of quality improvement and continuous improvement of service delivery activities to clients.
- Determining goals (short-term, medium-term, long-term) based on the needs to ensure the maintenance and promotion of health and social welfare of the client.
- Determining the policy and adopting appropriate methods and determining the schedule to achieve the desired goals
- Planning to form and participate in special committees with a description of codified tasks (educational, research, infection control and monitoring, etc.)
- Providing an optimal solution to the person in charge and creating appropriate conditions for the optimal use of available resources in order to achieve the desired goals.
- Planning and proposing to prevent infection (and control infection)
- Planning and cooperation with other relevant units to improve the knowledge and professional skills of nursing staff.
- Determining the estimation of different levels of human resources required by the nursing departments based on scientific standards.
- Employing human resources based on the ability of people in different work shifts.
- Leadership and guidance of relevant units in order to achieve organizational goals.
- Providing training needs of staff, including: Familiarization of new staff with the rules and policies of the hospital and the implementation of in-service training of staff in coordination with the Deputy Director of Education
Other nursing office colleagues:
In the nursing office complex, the educational supervisor, clinical supervisor, circulating supervisor, infection control expert and head nurses of the wards are the partner of the director of nursing services to achieve the goals and policies set by the hospital.
